As well its necessity to thrive in life. At Woodwind Ln Press, we are the propelling force behind those who desire to be published authors of various works. Meet Our Founders

Dr. Christopher Douglas

Dr. Christopher Douglas began his post-secondary education as a Rice University scholar in Houston, Texas where he earned a dual bachelor’s degree in Health Science and Sports Management, a Master’s degree and a Doctoral degree from the University of Houston. He had a 2-year stint with the NFL Houston Texans within their community development and scouting departments before transitioning to the healthcare industry. He began his career at Advanced Diagnostics Healthcare in Houston, Texas as a Practice Administrator and was soon promoted to Executive Director, where he was responsible for engineering and pioneering their mobile radiology introduction statewide serving long term acute care clients that led to lucrative merger after three short years.. In 2017, Dr. Douglas became the Chief Executive Officer of Advanced Surgeons and Physicians Network, Inc. , where he was instrumental in creating a 501A physician group and recruiting more than thirty practitioners to practice within four out-patient clinics and a hospital in the Greater Houston Area. This role led to Dr. Douglas being called upon to start-up a hospital in the wealthiest zip code in the Houston area of River Oaks Hospital & Clinics in 2019.

Dr. Douglas has a passion for education, traveling, and being a mentor and advisor to students and venture founders in the Healthcare Industry. He has started a foundation and scholarship fund to enable high school students to attend a college-preparatory high school as a way to change the career narrative and provide exposure for disadvantaged, inner-city youth.

He is a member of the American College for Healthcare Executives and the National Association of Health Services Executives, and a Board Member of The Houston Texans YMCA, The Arthritis Foundation of Houston, and Bloom Academy of Houston.

Amber McCoy Campbell, M.Ed

Amber McCoy Campbell began her post secondary education at the University of Houston- Downtown and completed her undergraduate studies at Full Sail University where she earned a bachelor’s degree in Entertainment Business and later continued her studies at the University of Houston Clear Lake by earning a Masters degree in Education Management. While interning and learning the entertainment industry, Amber pursued a career and developed a passion for teaching. For nearly 10 years, she taught English Language Arts and Reading and was a Special Education leader in the Houston Independent School District with a couple years dedicated to the Alvin Independent School District.

Currently, Amber McCoy Campbell is a full-time REALTOR® and Writer. Which she also practiced in her latter years as an educator. She credits her successes to building meaningful relationships and being overly determined to help others achieve their goals. Family, caring for the elderly, and being a great example to today's youth hold a special place in her life. She remains committed to making a difference in the lives of others!
